ABOUT SIMONE & S1 STUDIO

Well, I am the creator and proud owner of S1studio.I completed a diploma in contemporary photography and visual arts in 2010. Before I knew it, some years had passed during which time I photographed over 300 weddings between the UK and Italy, many family portraits.However, photography is not my original career. At the age of sixteen (a long time ago!), instead of enrolling onto a ‘normal’ university degree, I began to study for a degree in drama and contemporary circus skills (yes you had read that right!).For over a decade I worked on stage, theatres, and festivals and on different shows and projects involving local communities and young people. I specialised in the art of clownery, juggling and acrobatics with my favourite discipline being the trapeze. Now I just practice for my own enjoyment and teach basic flyer and static trapeze as a hobby.I mention this important time during my youth because my personal love for people and human emotions developed during this period and is strongly reflected in my photographic style.I create memorable photo sitting and session with the burning desire to deliver outstanding images and passion to build a lasting relation with my client base on honesty, respect and reliability.

S1Studio has a defining signature style. Our creative approach is based on documentary reportage photography. We believe perfect moments happen when we are at our most relaxed and natural. During our photography session, we encourage family and children to interact, play with humour and without self-consciousness to candidly reveal special relationships, bonds and love that make every individual and their relationships so unique. Our Portraiture Service offers an outdoor photography session rather than a formal studio setting. We prefer this approach especially when capturing families with children as the little ones feel more natural in an open environment. They feel free to engage with each other and those around them in a playful way. Our Images represent our style: beautiful photographs with truthful moments.
